ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Nubia, a holistic health coach and prediabetes educator with over 10 years of experience in health coaching and lifestyle transformation. I’m also a wife and mom to a sweet three-year-old daughter. My love for family is at the heart of why I do this work.

I specialize in working with individuals at high risk for type 2 diabetes, particularly through the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). I’ve led prediabetes programs for the UC system, clinics, and nonprofit organizations, and am proud to serve as a DPP Lifestyle Coach for UCLA and a DPP Master Trainer for Temple University College of Public Health, where I train and mentor other coaches. I’ve also worked as a Community Health Worker for AltaMed and offer corporate wellness coaching, helping people make sustainable lifestyle changes that enhance their health and well-being.

Trained in over 100 dietary theories at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, I combine my knowledge in diabetes prevention, holistic health, and group facilitation to create personalized health strategies that fit each individual’s lifestyle. My mission is to empower clients to make informed decisions about their health, nourish their bodies with whole foods, and embrace movement. Whether through one-on-one coaching or group programs, I’m dedicated to helping individuals prevent or manage chronic conditions and achieve their happiest, healthiest selves.
